A Parent's Guide to MAP
What is MAP? The Measures of Academic Progress, or MAP, is a formative assessment that is given to your child three times each year. It is correlated to the Common Core State Standards. This is a n untimed, multiple choice test that is taken on an computer. It is both adaptive (adjusts to the level of difficulty appropriate for your child), as well as diagnostic (identifies specific strengths of your child in specific areas).
When Will My Child Take MAP? Three times per year: August/September (Fall), November/December (Winter), March/April (Spring)
